Arraignment Today For Adams County Homicide Suspect

Arraignment is scheduled in Adams County Court today for homicide suspect Jonathan Leonard. The 25-year-old McSherrystown man is being held in the beating death of his 64-year-old aunt, Christiana Leonard, inside her home along the 700 block of Third Street in Conewago Township last month. Leonard was booked on several charges, including criminal homicide. A charge of deviate sexual intercourse was filed following autopsy results and evidence collected at the scene.
